Risk Facts:

● People with Inflamatory Bowel Disease or Crohn’s Disease
● A personal or family history of CRC or colorectal polyps
● Lack of regular physical activity
● Low fruit and vegetable intake and a low fiber / high fat diet
● Other factors: Age, Obesity, alcohol consumption, tobacco use

Guidlines:

Screening is recomended for all adults aged 50 or older.

● iFOBT every year
● Flexible Sigmoidoscopy every 5 years
● Double contrast barium enema every 5 years
● Total colon examination by colonoscopy every 10 years
